boot into linux using rescue mode. Under redhat there will be a couple of 
screens once your rescue mode linux in booted up. Be sure to do a 
"chroot /mnt/sysimage"

The do a:
lilo -v
or
grub-install /dev/hdx

where "x" can vary.
