-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
Had a productive meeting yesterday (Sunday) to thrash out stuff about the September event. Present were: - - Devdas Bhagat (virtually) - - Kishore Bhargava (virtually) - - Manish Malik (virtually) - - Raj Mathur - - Sandip Bhattacharya (virtually) - - T Meyrivan - - Viksit Gaur - - Vivek Iyyer Decided the following: We'll call the event Freedel. It has a nice ring to it and it's short and sweet. Domain freedel.in has been registered, volunteers for putting content there are solicited. We'll have 2 halls at the event -- one larger hall (300-seater) and one smaller one (60-150 seater). The larger one will be used for talks, the smaller one for workshops and tutorials. Format of talks in the larger hall would be standard 50 minutes per talk. There will be 2 half-day workshops (one in the morning session each day of the event) in the smaller hall. The afternoon sessions in that hall will consist of 2 or 3 tutorials each day. Suggestions for workshops and tutorials welcome. We will have 2 categories of sponsors: - - Regular sponsors who donate Rs 25,000 or more and get branding and stall space. Have to work out exact method of branding. - - Sponsors in kind who donate equipment, bandwidth, CDs, T-shirts, etc., who will be handled on a case by case basis. Sandip Bhattacharya is looking into getting prices for video coverage of the event. We should have some fixes on rates soon. - -- Raj Mathur [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://kandalaya.org/ GPG: 78D4 FC67 367F 40E2 0DD5 0FEF C968 D0EF CC68 D17F It is the mind that moves -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.8 <http://mailcrypt.sourceforge.net/> iD8DBQFC5IYEyWjQ78xo0X8RAiwyAJ4nAyfLQvbTvodVYxyThX5bipkN3QCcD60F spKFpZa4rJiwgoi18vyseWg= =SKWT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
