Hi, I am trying to compile MPlayer on my Debian machine but am running into a problem with the "xv" video output driver.
MPlayer does not detect the Xv extension at all! Checking for Xv ... no > Checking for XvMC ... no > I cheched whether I had th Xv extension on my machine at all, and it indeed was there. /usr/X11R6/lib/libXv.so.1 > /usr/X11R6/lib/libXv.so.1.0 > I checked out my XF86Config file, but could not find any section related to configuration of the Xv extension. I checked out the XFree86 log, only to find the following: (II) Loading extension XVideo > (II) Loading extension XVideo-MotionCompensation > Any solutions to the problem?
