Hi What would be a good GNU/linux OS option for a standalone 486 machine, 32 mb RAM , currently running win 95.
Uses would be data and word processing and connecting to the internet using a phone- modem connection. Users are novices with no experience in any OS but would like to as GUI as possible , atleast equivalent to win 95. Languages - english and hindi would be really preferable.
