Works with Ubuntu5.xx Also for OP of this thread: Part of the problem is SATA recognition is that in some MoBo's you have to turn of "enhanced" setting BIOS for IDE in PATA/SATA section. Look up arhieves, I have also reported problems with MSI MoBo which have embedded SiL controllers.
