[Snipped the goddies for selfish purpose] Wonderful and I am going to try this on my Reliance + Samsung connects. Nishi any idea what Nokia init string should be for Reliance. I am able to connect wonderfully with Samsung / LG using Ubuntu but with Nokia (using DKU-5 cable) simple ATZ only shows "Dialing #777" on phone and then drops with "No Carrier" dtecet.
