If by yahoo messenger you mean gaim , then the default installation of squid doesn`t allow 5050 port tunneling , so you can`t connect to yahoo through gaim >( but in window with > same squid we can run messanger) yes , the Messenger client provided by yahoo can connect with your current squid installation, Just download the unix client of Yahoo messsenger from http://messenger.yahoo.com and Install the client , setup the proxy options , and you will be able to connect to yahoo. -- "When i can run , i will run , When i can walk , i will walk, When i can crawl , i will crawl.
