I assume you have Windows XP with the Drive E formatted with NTFS. For NTFS support you will need to install the NTFS driver. There is a guide for this here ---> http://www.linux-ntfs.org/content/view/127/63/
Incase the Drive E is formatted as FAT32 then you can mount the drive natively with the mount command into a directory of your choice. Hope this helps.
