Hello List, Sorry for the late reply but I have found the solution of the problem. Actually SquidGuard: 1.2.0 is not supportd (has some issue with the permisions)on Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 4.2.52. However Squidguard has a patch for the same, well we have uninstalled the previous version of squidguard and compiled the new patched version as the pactched version has some 4-5 patches, now everything is working fine.
