dear all,

am just resurrecting my ubuntu fiesty and have made good progress with
the fresh install since yesterday. noticed i needed the flashplayer to
watch youtube. the moment i clicked on 'install plugin' and the adobe
site opened with the linux player download link, i noticed i had a
cookie from 2o7.net.
immediately blocked the cookie, and after the download shut down the
system to run a small errand.
so on my next reboot ran the installer, launched firefox, and
everything ran ok, with no 2o7.net cookie.

those interested, check your cookies to see if you have one from 2o7.net

meanwhile, would love to install gnash or <please recommend other
flash-player-equivalent> but would rather do that on a non-production
distro, which i will install in another partition hopefully this week.

regards
:-)
