Hi All The common question that many people not familiar with Open Source/Free software business model ask is - if a software is free and Open Source, how do the companies who are involved in Open Source SURVIVE (make profit!!)!!!
I came across this wonderful blog which answers the above aptly and is the best that I have come across. The 'eight' attributes that makes OpenSource/Free software have business sense is worth having a look at, and understand. These are exactly the ones that makes Open Source profitable and successful.
