The latest stable FreeBSD-7.0 (amd64) did not work with the built-in Nvidia ethernet. ... and I could not find the module for that too. Then I removed that and installed PC-BSD (latest AMD64) and put in a Intex card (now I see the Linux driver is sc92031 ...later versions of the Intex nics use RTL8139D...) ... everything works fine except for the ethernet. I think I will change the card if there is no pbi/module for that. But the difference between sc92031 and RTL8139D is minor. Best A. Mani -- A. Mani Member, Cal. Math.
