A language talk is always more interesting than IDE, IDE's are always

Well, that's usually true. But there are a couple of things which make
SLIME interesting:
1. IDEs for Lisp have some unique advantages (compared to other language
IDEs) that they merit a discussion of their own.
2. SLIME is not just the most popular, it is pretty much THE open-source
IDE that a CLer would use.
Still at the end it's your call :)
Cool. Having done a couple of Lisp (language-oriented) talks before, I
want to try something different this time. And a talk focussed on a Lisp
IDE should provide an interesting perspective on some things, even if
you don't know Lisp.
I do hope that I won't make you guys (gals?) fall asleep :)
