You need to add repositories of gutsy to your sources list which is
available in the repos. That is the one you need to upgrade. Don't
forget to  comment rest of it.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

That should do the job.
The old release is just a mechanism to give you the old packages in an
unsupported manner. Putting the stuff there reduces load on mirrors as
well since they no longer keep them.
