Hi all, I manage a server for a college level LUG, which mirrors repositories for the use of students. We are running out of space and want to increase the disk space by 1 TB. I want to know whether an external hard drive can serve our purpose. The server runs 24x7.
Also is there any hardware specification for an internal hard drive. It is an HCL server with intel xeon processor probably of 2005 make.
