Experienced a very odd behavior today while viewing videos at http://video.ted.com/talks/podcast/PranavMistry_2009I.mp4 The screen used to go blank [seem like monitor is switched off] , but clicking Alt+Tab to move control over to another application eg thunderbird the screen brightness used to come back.

Visiting the blog at http://www.chaikidukaan.com was another weired experience, scrolling the mouse down the page used to increase and decrease the screen brightness. The brightness used to be just OK when the video embedded in the page was viewable and the brightness used to go off when the text was viewable. And once the tab was closed the brightness used to come back.

Is this an issue of rendering of HTML 5 under Firefox 3.5.5. Please try out and see if you see the same results.
