How about those of us who are not on Facebook, and don't want to be there? IMO it's a bad idea to force people to register for a service (FB, Yahoo, GMail, whatever) to be able to use another, unrelated service (the training course). Of course, now that I look at the original post I see that I have to register at some place called meetup.com to be able to attend the training. Fortunately the OP has given a phone number, so I could still attend if I wanted to.
