Hi,
I have installed Knoppix onto the harddisk of my new
PC, where it coexists with Win2000. I have changed the
language to English from German, and it is working
great, although running a Debian testing kernel.
However a couple of issues still remain. For example
when I use mozilla(version 1.0 with the distribution)
to browse www.debian.org it shows the site in German.
Again the apt-get commands give 'Reading package list
error'. I wanted to remove mozilla to install the new
Mozilla 1.2.1, but the same error. Before I start
configuring my sources.list in /var/lib/apt directory,
my question is has anyone tryed the same thing and
resolved the issues and how?
Thanks,
-- narsingh
