I do love the band and feel that Karen and Don write incredible music. I
also enjoy the stripped down, acoustic sound into which they have evolved.
But, I will admit that I miss Steve Brown's drumming and the "plugged-in"
sound of their earlier albums. Granted Steve is now persuing his dreams
of owning his own restaurant, but here's hoping that the band has one more
"rockin'" album in them. Although if they continue to follow the path of
simplicity that they have chosen, I won't complain. Keep those gorgeous
melodies and chiming guitar licks coming!
