UGH!!! (that's meant to be said with a pathetic Charlie Browness) They
played "Happy, The End" and I missed it! It's even worse than missing the
Great Pumpkin while sitting all night in the most sincere pumpkin patch
going. <sigh> At the show in Pittsburgh I asked Karen if she ever saw
herself playing "Happy, The End" live and she said that she would need a
piano and that something would be missing if there wasn't percussion. But
she just might.....and she DID! Although I wasn't there! ACK! So my
question is, did they have percussion for the song? I'm guessing not,
since no one mentioned Steve playing at all. Did it sound like it was
missing something? Also, they did mention at the Pittsburgh show that
they were thinking about doing some west coast dates (dependent upon the
children) so I'm glad to here it's coming to fruition and also they said
something about another New York date. Although, you never know if it
will be as cool as the Fez, so don't miss out on the Fez show! I love
when they play there...I think it's one of my favorite places to see
them. I'd love it if they could play the Iron Horse in Northampton MA.
Ah K....thanks for the Tin Angel reviews everyone! (Belinda...don't think
I'll be making it to the VA show...with student teaching and all...got my
plate full, but they'll be more shows I'm sure! Sorry I missed you too!)
