Hello All,
New to the list. I just caught the recent IM shows in Pittsburgh and New York - both
were gorgeous. The New York show was a few weeks earlier, and was their first show in
ages, so there were a few (charming) mistakes... by the time of the Pittsburgh show,
they were locked in together, and the sound was sublime, the room was packed. Excited
to just find out that the opening band in Pittsburgh, called The Last Town Chorus (the
singer Megan was from PA originally, but they're based in Brooklyn now) is also
opening this Saturday's show at Fez in New York. They were gorgeous - she plays a
lapsteel slide guitar through ethereal sort of delay effects - and has an amazing
voice - really intense and mesmerizing stuff. There are some photos from IM's

(bough their album as well and can't stop listening to it). Guessing that The Last
Town Chorus are is friends with IM, and it makes perfect sense - gave me!
