Regarding the debate over donations, etc. for downloading the Fez show- I agree with
what someone posted about how we'd all run out and buy the show should the band
release it. I read in a post either somewhere in Our Courtyard or here that someone
once asked Mike what he thought of people taping the shows, and his response was that
he totally understood about that- he had some unreleased Beach Boys material himself.
We would certainly all appropriately condemn anyone that might package this thing
and try to sell it. But my hunch is the band knows they wouldn't have the time, etc.
to keep up with the demand of fans like us for all the material we can get, and should
they eventually release a live CD, etc., we'll all be fighting each other to be first
in line.
