>From the November 2002 archives of the "Our Courtyard" group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ourcourtyard/ "East Virginia is a "traditional" folk song that dates back to the 1920's, most likely written by someone who lived in the "high mountains" region of Kentucky or thereabouts. It's now in the public domain and has been recorded by many, many "folks" over the years, including Pete Seeger and Joan Baez. It appears on the Anthology of American Folk Music and on dozens of other recordings." blacksheeprox (Jeff) moderator __________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe im
