I, for one, love the IM first of all for thier lyrics. I have never found another artist who writes lyrics as beautifully and articualtely on the inner workings of the heart --as Karen. Their music is wonderful, too and it brings the song alive. but lyrics are more important to me - it is what makes me love the song.

In '89, when I brought home the first IM album and heard "Paper Dolls" for the first time, I just stood there in awe. Her voice, the vibe of the whole album blew my mind...and though the music has changed, the beauty of their songs always amazes me, and I think it's just the natural product of their personalities.
