I've probably said it before but... I've only seen them a handful of times (I
live in Hartford, CT) and the first and most dreadful was opening up for Don
Henley in 1989. I was so happy to see a largely unknown band - that I had
quickly come to love. The majority of the crowd was not so happy. They were
heckling during IM's set pretty badly. It was embarassing. Anyway, it's a
painfully vivid time that comes to mind. Of course, they were amazing - with a
FULL BAND too!
