I saw Sufjan a few months ago, and while he didn't perform "The Lakes of Canada" (darn!), I will say that his low-key style and sensitive lyrics would appeal to IM fans. I'm totally smitten with his "Michigan" album, and he put on a great show.
The fact that he's an IM fan makes him all the better. :) Melissa ----- Original Message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, December 12, 2004 12:54 PM Subject: [im] The perfect song This was mentioned on the yahoo group: Sufjan Stevens has chosen the innocence mission's song "The Lakes Of Canada" as his pick for "The Perfect Song" on a recent episode of NPR's All Songs Considered.
