My problem is to make VCD's
Ik have an iMac DV special edition 400Mhz. MacOs 9.1 Quitcktime pro edition
5.02, Toast Titanium 5.01, latest iMovie with all slick plug-ina and Toast
Titanium plu-ins.
Also I have a portable CDRW 4424 USB from Freecom.
A month ago I made my first VCD from my holliday-movie (With iMovie) I did
it. You can play it on any platform and also in a DVD-player with
VCD-possibility and capable of reading CD-R and CD-RW.
At this moment it doesn't work anymore. My mpeg's are corrupt. (tested them
with Astrarte-software.) Quicktime can read the .mpg file but doesn't reaf
the .datfile on my VCD or VCD-image. What is the problem? I downloaded
quickime again after deleting all it's stuf. But this doesn't worked out.
Even if I open a movie in quicktime and save it as Toast Video CD I get
problem's. It this a Toast Titanium problem or what? Help me please.
I did it once but I can't do it again. Nice part is that when I when to a
VCD store and showed my VCD to the owner, he was surprised and alked me how
I did this. I answered him: 'I have a Mac'
