Update:

There are actually binaries for OS X at

ftp://vic.cc.purdue.edu/pub/tools/unix/lsof/binaries/darwin/1.4

if you don't feel comfortable compiling source.

Now, I haven't tried these since I don't have my Mac yet.

I've used LSOF on other UNIX flavors in the past, though.
