Hey Everyone- Quick question.. Is there a REASON why Norton Systemworks, TechTool Deluxe, LiveUpdate and Retrospect Express have installed themselves right into my "Macintosh HD" among the app folders and system folders? Is this so I can use one of those cd's for restarting my mac if a crash occurs, or is this just where they simply installed themselves? I was thinking of moving the folders into the (more general) APP folder. Anyone have any clues about this one? Just trying to understand the locations of some installs here...
Oh yeah, and I've upgraded Appleworks to the latest (6.2.4) and it still remains solely in my Applications (Mac os 9) folder in Mac OS X, although AW runs in OS X mode. Is there a reason why its installed only in the classic app folder and not in the OS X one? Thx *B -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
