I am trying to make a backup copy for someone in the office of Grolier's encylopedia 1995 edition made for Windows 95. I can't get Toast to do it.
If anyone knows how, please email me and let me know. This is a mac pride thing. The girl said she couldn't make a backup copy and like a idiot I said "the imac can do it" and now I have egg on my face. I have the mac version of Toast Platinum or Titanium. Can't remember what the mac version is called. With all the talk about copy protection for audio CDs, it looks like Groliers have found a way back in 1995. I understand they put a garbage file in track one that makes the checksum feature not equal the original or something, but I don't know how that works.
