Amber and Scott, I am also replacing this drive for a friend on her Rev. A, i have tried absolutely everything to get this computer working and it seems nothing is working, but the first thing to go was the CD-Rom drive. Scott, what drive model are you going to replace yours with and where are you getting it from (for a reasonable price, I assume)? Thanks! Guavachild
