I fully sympathize - I had this problem too...AOL seems to grow like a 
weed - wrapping it's tentacles around all areas of your hard drive.

I would  suggest that you search for AIM files as well.  I thought I had 
rid myself of AOL by deleting all these AOL files but was still weird 
AOL stuff coming up.
I finally found some AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) files hidden way down 
deep and yanked them out. Then it was finally gone......what a pain 
though !
