Look at the source code of the message. Not sure how you do that in IE, but
it's there somewhere. Then you can see the HTML. I'd guess it's using
<font> codes, which may override your preferences. My email in Eudora is
much more pleasant to look at since I unchecked "pay attention to font" in
its settings. Don't know if there's a similar cure in IE. MS as a policy
doesn't like  you to turn off its "features", thus the monthly Outlook virus.
