Some people have wondered how to make a bootable CD of OS X 10.2 (the retail
version) and/or a backup copy. After all, it's a $130 investment that some
of us didn't want to spend in the first place. To protect your investment,
you might want to make a backup copy of the CD. Since your Mac OS treats the
OS X 10.2 Installer as a bootable CD on the disc image, you must burn it the
right way. (Keep in mind this is not information you should use to make a
bootleg version to give to someone, this is illegal, and I ain't cool with
that.) Ok. Here's how:

OPEN UP DISK COPY

To make the initial image, choose NEW > IMAGE FROM DEVICE

For image format, select DVD/CD MASTER

You will need to use 700 MB CD-R's for this operation on both discs
seperately.

Not sure if this works, but I saw it posted somewhere and it seems legit, so
give it a try.
