Our iMac has developed a weird problem. Whenever it is on, it is connecting to the internet approx every 15 minutes. It doesn't open any application - at least nothing shows up in recent applications
This started this week after I upgraded to system 9.2.2 and installed a new version of quicken (2003). I tried looking at the various programs that have schedulers but can't see anything enabled. And again am stumped by not being to see that any application is active. I'm concerned that I may have picked up a virus but haven't seen any postings describing this phenomena. Any input on how to track down what is happening would be appreciated. Ray Weiss Ps: Beyond the basic system I don't have any non-commercial programs on my computer.
