Hi

I don't know exactly what the problem is but when you upgarde to a different
language you'll get problems.
I did this once. But the other way around. From an english version to a
dutch.

The trick is to make an alias of the following folders and rename the alias
in english (or in the destinationlaguage):

controlpanels, extensions, preferences, Contextual Menu Items and all other
main systemfolders wich are used bye other software and thirdparty software.

When you start an installer and there is a systemfile in it (extension). The
installer has to know in wich folder it installs.

If you have aliases this problem is gone.
