Lately, an uninvited item called a "Java Message Log" has begun appearing in my apple pull-down menu. I use 8.6 on a 333 (512Mb) iMac. That seems really creepy since I didn't put it there. Virus? I did recently hook up a cable modem. That's about it for new stuff on the iMac.
