I'm heading towards upgrading may iMac 406 (DV G3 500MHZ) to OSX (from
9.2.2). I started looking for memory today. Linked to a site through Low End
Mac offering 512MB memory board for $41.99 (1-8004memory). They claim their
chips are compatible with updated Apple Firmware. "Mac Fix It" links to a
company "Transintl.com" that talks about their memory being rated "2-2-2".
512MB board is $47.

I haven't purchased any memory for ages. Can't believe the prices!

Does anyone have any input on: How to select? Experience with vendor?
Good/Bad experiences?

Also my system profiler shows 128MG installed in DIMMO/J13. If I have 2
slots do I go with 2-512MB to max out the system?

I hope this all makes sense.
