I got my first Mac Monday and (1) since work has been busy and (2) I
immediately seem to have lost the little white book it came with (I
checked the recycling and am totally frustrated and stumped as to what
I could have done with it!) I have a question.....
the machine has been running since Monday since I don't know how to put
it to "sleep" a concept from PC's I haven't ever heard. Is that what I
do? Or do I log off and shut down (somehow?) I mostly use it an hour
or two at night after work.
sorry,
Mary
P.S. Will Mac/Apple send me another little book? I tried to find a
MAC for dummies - I'd like big picture answers here as you can see. OS
X for dummies sounds sort of specific.....
