Hi Amber...I think that if you do a clean install by choosing that option in the first install window, it will fly right in, no problem. I may be mistaken, but I think that all Mac OS install disks, if started as boot, will install directly to the hard disk, overwriting whatever was on there. The exception could be,if one is trying to do a downgrade OS trying to overwrite a newer system. Anyone have a problem doing that? Cheers, Doug in BC
