I wondered the same thing with my old Rev D 333 (purchased over two years
ago). I was afraid I'd be stuck in 8.6 forever. However, a few months ago I
acquired a set of new OS 9.2 iMac installation CDs, and I tried it on the Rev
D 333. Presto-Change-O... My old Rev D 333 runs 9.2 like it was made for it.
I do have the Rev D memory maxed out (256 in both upper and lower slots).
No other modifications.
