>There is only one IDE bus in an iMac Check Apple System Profiler. On my emac it shows 2 busses (Internal ATA 0 for the HD and Internal ATA 2 for the Combo drive, and both devices are ID=0). I don't know if your particular system has the same thing, but it's worth a check.
