Hi, Does anybody know of software that recovers deleted documents? I carelessly deleted what I thought was a duplicate of the folder which contained all of the documents I had created - without realising immediately what I'd done (so I happily continued working, creating and deleting stuff). I got some of the documents back by restoring from my backup zip disks, but some of the most recent ones had disappeared.
Am I right to assume that the documents have not actually been deleted, but have simply had their names deleted from the directory? If so, can anyone tell me what software I should use to get the documents back? I have Disk Warrior, but the wording on the back of the pack is a bit ambiguous about whether it will do what I need it to do. Other people have told me to buy Norton Utilities, or download a free utility from www.nonags.com called Drive Rescue (which I'm going to have a look at as soon as I've posted this e-mail). However, these are PC users and have no knowledge of Macs, so I'm reluctant to put my trust in what they say! Any advice specific to macs will be most welcome. I have a graphite 600 MHz iMac, with 384 MB of RAM. Thanks in anticipation Mike -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
