Good to know that Apple has recognized it, and that they're doing something 
'bout it. Thanks for the link. BTW what exactly are the parts that need to 
be repaired/ replaced? Same problem as the iMacs?

But you're implying that there have been problems with them? Or are you 
saying you haven't seen them since you last sold them?

I disagree, that forum is very helpfull, especially for newbies and the 
Apple discussions forum is the first forum they'll find to ask their 
questions, and since they're newbies they usually forget to post there 
system specs and such.
And I like to read and monitor the forums, but definitely not as much as I 
did in the 'old' days when the forum wasn't so sophisticated and every 
question was posted on top of the other one on one page.

well, that applies to me too than, I guess, in my posts to the list

I agree with you on this one. I don't know the MacInTouch forum although I 
know their site, but I do know the MacFixIt forums and I do like the 
answers posted there. I did find some help there in the past after 
searching for different topics via Google.
