A couple of weeks ago, I downloaded ClearDock, but never did install it (I am running 10.2.1). When I got home tonight, I had a clear dock anyway. My son (5 1/2) had been messing with the computer (imac dvd 400 mhz) but how can I get a clear dock without the app? I searched the hard drive and ClearDock is nowhere on it.
Also, I wrote a while back about a PRAM battery issue. I installed a piece of freeware in the startup folder to check the PRAM battery. The first couple of times I rebooted, the freeware notifier didn't pop up. But when the computer was off for a couple of hours, it did and told me I need a new battery. I'm going to take the machine in Saturday while I am still under warranty (3 more weeks). I'd also like to comment on Safari, pardon the pun: Safari so good. It's much faster than Exploder in loading pages and it has not crashed on me yet. Bob Menaker -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
