Poor response, coming from a tech... If you've done it before, you should remember that there are two RAM slots -- one on each side of the processor card. Also, the process is not as impossible as you make it sound. Sites like LowEndMac (as do many of the RAM vendor sites) have illustrated instructions that walk you through the process from start to finish. It can be done the first time without too much bother in 30 to 45 minutes. With a little familiarity, the job (in the rev. A and B model) can be done in 15 minutes. I've not heard of any problems recognizing a 256MB module in either slot.
