At the Disney Parks, it's called "FastPass", and it more or less amounts to
having an appointed time to go through a particular attraction.  You get a
ticket to come back, say between 3:30 and 4:00, and then you don't have to
wait an hour or more in line, maybe 5 to 15 minutes.  I believe it costs
around $35 in addition to the Park's entrance fee.  They've had this for
about 4 or 5 years now.
