I'm running OSX on a beige G3 233MHz overclocked to 292MHz. I have no problems with it running OSX. I also have a Wallstreet PowerBook 233MHz and OSX runs fine on it as well. I wouldn't try and use these computers for video editing though. I also have the same problems of slow viewing PDFs on these computers.
