I have a couple of questions I wanted to search for an answer to on the archive but this is the message I get:
Not Found The requested URL /[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ was not found on this server.
I went to the homepage of the archive which displayed a message that all archives are temporarily offline due to technical difficulties.
My questions:
1. How to change the Recent Documents list. I know I've seen this discussed in the past but my memory fails me.
Do you mean the number of documents displayed? In OS X, it is in the General pane of the System Preferences. In 9, it is in the Apple Menu Options Control Panel.
2. How to change the browser that opens up when you click on a link in an e-mail. If IE is running the link works fine. But if I try to do that in Mozilla nothing happens when I click on the link.

This depends on your e-mail client. It could be in in the e-mail client's preferences, it may defer to the setting in the Internet pane of the System Prefs. In Eudora, you have to option-click on the URL link and it brings up a dialogue box in which you can set the preferred browser.
