Dear LEM Listers & LIst Mom, I received today an email that I thought was suspicious, having the subject line:
"WARNING! (3707652162)" And a message with the following info/instructions: "This is an automated message from the imac-list mailing list manager. "List messages sent to your address <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> have bounced. "If you read this message, your mail system has been probably fixed. "To clear the bounce counter and prevent automatic cancelation of your subscription, "use the Reply command in your mailer." "Check that the Subject of the reply message contains " the confirmation ID: 3707652162, " and the reply is directed to <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, " and the 'From' address of your reply is <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>." I have never received a message like this from LEM before and as far as I know no messages have been bouncing from any other senders, so is this a legit aviso, or what?
